“On the eve of Independence Day”

“On the eve of Independence Day” We got independence in 1971. Today we are passing 44th Independence Day. All of us know what is independence, needless to explain but what are we enjoying? May we get independence right to express our views? What were the dreams of our martyrs before sacrificing their lives to build an independence nation? The whole nation is divided into two ideologies. Both are lead to divide and rules. People are divided and support what is for his present benefit not thinking Black and White. These are continuing after independence. But how many days the common people have to wait to get rid from this practice? Opportunity seekers may get angry to me. But it is not only my claim, demand of mass common people of Bangladesh. Near a year of half century they do not came to enjoy the independence of their rights. To whom we will demand our independence, is there anyone to answer us?
